Bordeaux is a port city in southwest France, with one million
inhabitants in its metropolitan area at a 2008 estimate. It is
the capital of the Aquitaine region, as well as the prefecture of
the Gironde department. Its inhabitants are called Bordelais.

We arrived in Bordeaux around 5:00. Tomorrow we head to Paris…our final stop.

We drive to the Loire Valley to see Amboise Castle, where Leonardo da Vinci is
buried. Then a photo-stop at the Chateau of Blois before arriving in Paris.
